The Story

The Sports Girlie was created to change how we experience, understand, and participate in sports. What started as a passion for storytelling has grown into a media platform, podcast, YouTube channel, school tour, and educational space for women and girls across Jamaica and beyond.

Founded by sports host and creative professional Jeanae Robinson, The Sports Girlie exists at the intersection of sports, confidence, culture, financial literacy and representation.

Why The Sports Girlie Exists

Sports spaces have historically been male-dominated and intimidating for women. The Sports Girlie challenges that narrative by making sports accessible, relatable, and empowering—whether you’re an athlete, a fan, a student, or a creative navigating the industry.

To empower women, girls, student athletes, even the men to confidently own their space in sports through storytelling, education, and community-driven experiences.

Meet the Founder

The Sports Girlie rightfully known as Jeanae Robinson, a dynamic 24-year-old girl & powerhouse in sports media. With five years in sports media, three years of live hosting experience on SportsMax, she’s had the oppurtunity to work with top-tier brands like 876Stream, GraceKennedy, Digicel, Malta, and the Essence of Reggae Music Festival. She launched her own show, The Sports Latte in 2021, which evolved into a full-fledged brand — The Sports Girlie (2025) — now home to a national school tour, YouTube show, the 20 of the most stellar ambassadors and more.

Jeanae is the Secretary of Ultra Blaze Ltd., and wears many hats: athlete manager, graphic designer, host, producer, social media manager, and content creator. Passionate about sports, storytelling, and representation, she’s redefining the game for the next generation.

She does all of this while staying rooted in her purpose. Her mantra:
